All of Sainsbury's petrol filling stations will be closed on Christmas Day. All of the chain's stores will also be closed on December 25 too, but will reopen on Boxing Day 2024. Check the Sainsbury's website for more information regarding Christmas opening times.

Morrisons will be closing all of their stores on December 25, 2024. Most of their petrol stations will also close too, but the stations will reopen on Boxing Day. All Tesco filling stations will close on Christmas Day. Tesco's stores will also be closed on December 25, 2024, in order to give its workers some time off. Most of Asda's petrol stations have a pay-at-the-pump service. This means that drivers will be able to fill up at most Asda stations.
However, many Asda stores will be close on Christmas Day and will operate reduced hours on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Most Shell-owned service stations will remain open over the festive period. However, several stations will be closing their doors so ask in-store, before Christmas Day.
