Saka is said to be targeting an Arsenal comeback for their Champions League last 16 first leg on either March 4 or 5, or their trip to Manchester United on March 9.
But Arsenal hope Saka will be ready to return in March to boost their bid to hunt down Liverpool in the Premier League title race and go deep in the Champions League.
The Arsenal boss made it clear that he wanted Saka to take the chance to go on holiday, after a relentless schedule for club and country in recent seasons.
The England star went away while Arsenal had away matches against Wolves and Girona, but Saka has otherwise been around the team as much as possible.
