IAG's total passenger numbers grew by 5.6 per cent to 122 million last year; they rose in Europe by 5.8 per cent to 63.3 million as the company prolonged some operating seasons outside the peak summer period.
The airline flew 46.2 million people, a 6.6 per cent year-on-year increase, supported by its passenger load factor - share of seats filled - rising by 1.6 percentage points to 85.2 per cent.
