Baltimore Ravens waive Diontae Johnson just two months after trading for him The Baltimore Ravens have waived wide receiver Diontae Johnson two months after acquiring him in a trade from the Carolina Panthers.
Since arriving in Maryland, he appeared in three wins and a loss for the Ravens, completing just one reception for six yards.
On Friday, Adam Schefter reported that the team waived Johnson after his short stint.
There is, in the opinion of some, a reasonable chance that Johnson will be claimed Monday,' per Schefter.
Johnson will 'go on waivers and can be claimed Monday at 4 pm ET.
