Britain's oldest male stripper has revealed her often gets booed by hen parties if he doesn't get fully naked. Mike Stratton, 56, from Wigan, appeared on This Morning today to discuss whether stripping has become a thing of the past. He strutted onto the set confidently in a beaming white sailor costume, as Alison Hammond unbuttoned his shirt.

Mike, whose real name is Michael Parkinson, has been stripping since he was 18 years old and came across a job advertisement for it. He has since had 36 years of experience in the industry - and calls himself 'the hustler'. His comments come after a hen and stag party organiser said not one male stripper was booked for a bridal bash throughout the whole of last year.

They said butlers in the buff were down nearly 70 per cent - with people finding real-life stripping 'overwhelming' and opting for tamer parties such as mini golf. But Mike said: 'I tend to prefer to go all the way. Because if you don't, you get booed. When I first started we never used to do it.

'When we worked for Dreamboys it was acceptable to bow and cheer at the end but once the Full Monty came out, it was expected. Male stripper Mike Stratton strutted onto the set confidently in a beaming white sailor costume, as Alison unbuttoned his shirt.

'Even now today, if you don't, you tend to get booed.'. He told the show that he once had a woman organising a hen party who specifically told him not to get fully naked because the bride-to-be was 'dead shy' and 'wouldn't like it' because her mother would be there.
