Carey was joined by Tom Basden at the premiere of their latest movie The Ballad of Wallis Island on Saturday. The star, who plays Nell Mortimer in the new movie, looked effortlessly stylish in a black wool coat and matching jumper as she arrived at the Eccles Theatre in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival.
She paired her outfit with a camel-coloured midi skirt and added inches to her frame with a pair of black knee-high boots. Carey kept her beauty look simple, opting for minimal makeup, as she posed for several snaps with her co-stars ahead of the premiere.

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim), an eccentric lottery winner living alone on a remote island, who dreams of reuniting his favourite musicians, Nell Mortimer (Carey) and Herb McGwyer (Tom), to perform together again.
