Carrie Bickmore was every inch the Barbie bombshell as she flaunted her incredible figure at the beach in Melbourne over the summer. In one of the images posted to her Instagram on Sunday, the radio star, 44, turned up the heat in a purple bikini while soaking up the sun with her children.

Her stunning two piece featured a scoop neckline and stood out amongst other beachgoers thanks to its vibrant colour. The former Project host seemed to be makeup free for the outing, but wore dainty gold jewellery, and stayed sun safe in a wide brim hat and dark shades.

'A sandy sun filled summer with some of my special people,' Carrie captioned the video montage of her laidback summer holidays. The mum-of-two is such a fan of the bikini, that she owns the same one in several colours. She is seen in the next clip lounging on a beach towel in a blue version of the same set.

The drive show radio host frolicked around in the shallow water with her two daughters, Evie, nine, and Adelaide, six.
