It's just days since Christmas, but people are already trying to sell their unwanted gifts online. And some sellers are even asking for more than the retail price. We've all been there; awkwardly unwrapping a present as you realise it's a hideous jumper in a colour you would never wear or another shower gel gift set.

And now cheeky Brits aren't wasting any time getting rid of the clutter. Some people were spotted listing their gifts on resale sites a mere 48 hours after the big day. First up is a sneaky listing of a bottle of 100ml Vera Wang Princess perfume. The scent is available brand new from the high street beauty store, Superdrug at £24.

And this seller wants to cash out properly - asking for £32.20. One cheeky Brit listed an unwanted gift - a bottle of Vera Wang perfume - on a resale site, asking for more than the retail price. A penguin from the brand Jellycat was also listed on a resale site - described as an 'unwanted Christmas present'.

The description simply states: 'Unwanted Christmas gift.'. An absolute bargain, though, is a pair of GHD hair straighteners, still in the box, for £84.70. Sadly, a huge Jellycat penguin also wasn't on someone's Christmas list. It's being offered for £81.30 online, with buyer's protection. The original price tag is £80 - but despite there being no real mark-up, the toy is described as 'quite hard to find' by the seller.
