Chocolate fans going wild as ‘best ever’ discontinued bar spotted in shops

It’s a new year and that means there will likely be creative new chocolate bars hitting supermarket shelves from brands, like Cadbury and Nestlé. But while we’ve all looking ahead to what 2025 has in store, a few nostalgic favourites have quietly been making their way back into shops.
B&M recently started selling a twist on the iconic Cadbury Fuse bars from the 90s, and if that weren’t enough Home Bargains shoppers have a popular discontinued treat for sale there too. White Chocolate Crunch bars, which were axed in 2018, are currently being sold at the discount retailer for £1.39 for a 100g bar.
Production of the Nestlé treat, made with white chocolate and crisped rice, was stopped six years ago much to the chagrin of fans. It did make a brief reappearance in Londis stores in April 2024, but disappeared again shortly after. So as you can expect, its latest comeback has people going wild, after a post about the chocolate was shared in a Snack Reviews group on Facebook.
Christopher Shore was quick to proclaim: ‘Best chocolate ever…white milk and dark are yummy.’. While Gary Kelly said: ‘Take my money’. And Kirsty Hargreaves wrote: ‘Mmmmm love a crunch.’. Others confessed they ‘needed to try’ the chocolate bar and some hoped the dark chocolate version would be returning soon too. The classic milk chocolate version is still widely available in stores.
For those that can’t find the White Chocolate Crunch in Home Bargains, Tracey Jagodzinski added that she’d also spotted them for sale in another shop, saying: ‘These are also in farm foods and a bit cheaper at £1 a bar, they had the milk chocolate one and white chocolate ones.’.
