Chris Pratt reveals reason behind recent weight gain as he embarks on 2025 fitness challenge

Chris Pratt was met with an abundance of support after revealing he gained 'fluff' after taking a month off from working out. On Thursday, the 45-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a video of himself back in his home gym after the holidays and encouraged fans to join him on the DEF Reset.
The fitness challenge, also known as the Discipline Equals Freedom Reset, is a month-long workout plan sponsored by Jocko Fuel which includes master classes and other content to promote weight loss. In the video, the Guardians of the Galaxy star gave an inspirational speech, including clips of himself working out in the hopes of 'transforming' his body.
'Anyone out there dealing with the December Fats? I know I am! Love handles fueled up and fluffy,' he penned in the caption. 'But that’s what the start of the new year is for!! In the video the actor said to fans: 'Hey, what's up? Happy New Year. Here we go, day one DEF Reset. You joining me? Do it, let's go. 'I took the entire month of December off, it was glorious and I gained a little bit of fluff in this section,' he said caressing his stomach. 'The love handles are all fueled up, gonna have to work on those.'.
The Parks and Recreation alum continued: 'I'm gonna start a little fasted cardio, I'm gonna do some burpees, I'm gonna do some weights.'. In terms of his end result, the actor said he want to get into 'the best shape' ahead of filming for season two of his hit show Terminal List.
