Classic-winning trainer makes ‘next level’ move after purchase of £1.9 million stables Classic winning trainer George Boughey will train from a new base in 2025 after buying his own stables.
“Saffron House has been a great place to train horses but we’ve begun to feel slightly cramped and Craven House gives us the platform to operate on a larger scale.”.
Boughey has now completed the purchase of Craven House Stables in Newmarket, a former Godolphin pre-training yard which was being marketed together with a neighbouring property for sale at £1.9 million.
Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond in Craven House, Boughey said: “This move supports our ambition to continue growing organically.
“Craven House marks a significant milestone for us,” said Boughey.
