Despite McGregor being quick to leap to Mitchell's defence, UFC boss Dana White has quickly condemned the American's pro-Hitler comments, calling them "the dumbest, most ignorant" statements he has ever heard.
White addressed the issue at a recent Power Slap press conference, expressing disgust at the fighter's remarks whilst emphasising Hitler's responsibility for millions of deaths during World War II.
"Let this be acknowledgement/confirmation of the rise in antisemitic commentary, as well as all sorts of other bull****, phobic, racist commentary, that spreads feverishly and instantly across the world wide web where we, as curious beings, are brainwashed into all sorts of thinking.
