Sponsored by. A PLAYER in the Turkish top division was sent off for slapping his own teammate this weekend. Kayserispor's Stephane Bahoken was shown a red card just 23 minutes into his side's clash against fellow Super Lig side Sivasspor. Bahoken, 32, was clearly frustrated after Kayserispor had fallen 2-0 down just 10 minutes into the game.
And the Cameroon international lost it when confronting teammate Miguel Cardoso for giving away a free kick in a dangerous position. After getting in the face of Cardoso he then pushed him before slapping him across the cheek. Despite the altercation happening between two teammates, the referee had no choice but to reach into his pocket and dismiss Bahoken for violent conduct.
His dismissal came with over an hour left to play and left his side facing an uphill battle to say the least. Kayserispor were unable to turn the match around and wound up losing the game 5-2. And things weren't made any easier when teammate Joseph Attamah was sent off for two yellow card offences later in the game.
