Tottenham have been handed a huge injury boost with Cristian Romero returning to training. Spurs have been decimated by injuries this season, with Sunday's defeat at Everton seeing eight first-team players missing. Romeo has played just once since October, when he lasted just 15 minutes against Chelsea in November during a surprise return from injury, and has been sidelined since.
But on Wednesday the World Cup winner was back with the squad ahead of Thursday’s crucial Europa League clash at Hoffenheim. In future positive news, Rodrigo Bentancur was also with the squad having missed matches against Tamworth, Arsenal and Everton after suffering a concussion against Liverpool.
Radu Dragusin, who came off at half-time against Everton with a cut to his face, was also involved. Spurs head to Germany needing a result against Hoffenheim as they look to secure a top-eight finish and subsequent automatic qualification for the Europa League knockout stage.
