Cristiano Ronaldo made the most of the Saudi Pro League's (SPL) winter break by taking a trip to Lapland with his family. Ronaldo, 39, has shown no signs of his output slowing down this season, with the Portuguese superstar netting 16 times in 19 games for Al-Nassr.
But it has been a difficult campaign for the Saudi side, who are managed by former AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli. Al-Nassr are fourth in the SPL, already 11 points off leaders Al-Ittihad. They are currently on a mid-season break and won't return to action until January 9.
And Ronaldo made sure to make the most of his time off by taking his family on holiday with him to Lapland. Lapland is Finland's northernmost region and is known for its ski resorts, the Northern Lights, while it is also widely considered as the official home of Santa Claus.
Cristiano Ronaldo stripped down to his shorts in the snow in Lapland during his winter break. He tried various activities and was away with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their kids. However, Ronaldo didn't join in when they went skiing as footballers tend to be banned from it.
The 39-year-old has shared several posts to social media from the trip, including one where he was stripped down to his shorts in the snow, while showing off his impressive physique. Ronaldo accompanied the photo - which saw him grinning - with the caption: 'Merry Christmas, everyone.'.
