Trevoh Chalobah will be left out of the Crystal Palace squad to face Leicester if manager Oliver Glasner feels uncertainty over his future is in danger of becoming a distraction. Glasner has been clear that Chalobah’s involvement in Wednesday night’s match at the King Power Stadium depends on how disruptive the Englishman’s situation proves to his preparations for the match.
Chelsea are considering recalling Chalobah from his year-long loan at Palace six month early in order to bolster defensive numbers, after hamstring injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile left them short of centre-backs, and they are.
