A dad has been furiously slammed after detailing the strict rules he has placed upon his 15-year-old daughter as he revealed he is forcing her to pay rent. The unnamed man took to Reddit to beg people on the web for advice as he revealed that his teenage daughter had recently been defying the rules.

In a thread titled, Am I The A**hole, he explained that in the last two years, 'she has constantly lied, refused to follow our household rules.'. Some of the dad's rules include a 9pm bedtime on weekdays and a 10pm bedtime on weekends in addition to daily chores.
In recent weeks, his unnamed daughter has become more and more 'disrespectful' and the father has been questioning what he should do. After sitting down with his daughter and learning she wanted to be treated more like an adult, he suggested she get a job as she would have to begin paying rent.

The man explained: 'I am the father of a teenage daughter. Ever since she was 13 she has constantly lied, refused to follow our household rules (no electronics in rooms, 9pm bedtime, no fighting, bickering or petty back stabbing with siblings etc, complete your chores daily (sweep kitchen and cleanup after family dog) etc.) I do not feel we are super strict but I also refuse to give ground on these areas.
