DALTON SMITH will step into the ring with Walid Ouizza this weekend as the pair do battle for the EBU European title. The super lightweight fighters will take centre stage in Nottingham for the vacant European belt. Smith, 27, impressed in his last bout as he stopped Jose Zepeda in the fifth round to add the WBC silver title to his collection.

Now the Sheffield star faces an experienced fighter who has beaten two undefeated prospects in his last three fights to earn himself a chance at the title. Ouizza, 33, is on an eight-fight win streak, but only took to the ring once in 2024. While Smith is an undefeated fighter over his 16 career bouts and is ready to lift another belt above his head.
