Clubbers who were left in tears after being made to queue for 'hours' say they felt 'unsafe' after being 'crushed' in the crowds at a popular rave venue over the weekend - and are demanding refunds. Dozens of revellers have been left outraged after attending highly anticipated bass music event UKF15 on December 13, at Drumsheds.
The popular North London party space, which is a disused industrial warehouse in Enfield, is the UK's biggest club and has a capacity of 15,000 and boasts different 'rooms' where various artists can be enjoyed. However, guests hoping to listen to their favourite acts - including Pendulum, Knife Party, and NERO - were horrified at the 'complete disaster' which unfolded on Friday.
Petitions calling for 'accountability' and compensation for the 'unsafe conditions' have been set up, and some are even taking matters to the local council. Taking to X, one clubber demanded money back for the event - tickets for which went from £27.50.
'Imagine paying for a ticket to see 20 mins of an act after queueing two hours to get in, missing the act you actually travelled down to see, only to leave before the headliners started as the venue was genuinely unsafe for purpose.'. Another added: 'Unsafe crowd control, queued for 1.5 hours only to be told to go back to the start as my (less than A4 sized) bag too big despite passing two security staff already (I'd already bought a locker) and £20 for three waters??'.
