Davina McCall breaks down in first interview after brain surgery with three-word statement

Davina McCall emotionally says "I'm still here" in her first interview since having brain surgery. The TV host breaks down in tears as she speaks to close friend Steven Bartlett about her ordeal. Former Big Brother host Davina, 57, has teased the podcast interview on her instagram account ahead of its release on Thursday morning. The short clip also shows her saying: "I felt like this thing had taken control of me." She adds: "They said, 'You've got a benign cyst in your brain...'.".
Another clip from the new podcast shows Davina breaking down and saying: "I was like, 'I'm still here'. I began again." The latter comment is in reference to the name of her podcast Begin Again. Ahead of her surgery Davina had explained how the tumour had been found by chance. "A few months ago, I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace," she said in a video on social media. But it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare - three in a million.".
Davina then had an operation last November to have the cyst removed. On social media the star has admitted her "sense of gratitude" is "growing by the day" afterwards. Speaking in an Instagram video in December, she said: "I really feel a lot more myself. "I've looked back at some of the stuff I've been talking about, and I've realised I've been quite bonkers. So I just thought I'd clarify a few things.
"Firstly, I feel way better. My sense of gratitude seems to be growing by the day. I'm crying a bit less, which is good, and I'm really looking forward to Christmas.". She then said she felt more like herself in January and returned to the gym. This week she thanked fans for the "love and support" and said she felt overwhelmed because so many people have been in touch.
