The President posted a furious tirade on Truth Social on Thursday, verbally attacking the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Politico.
A lack of proofreading by Donald Trump has resulted in a renewed interest in the nutty German fruit bread 'stollen,' with social media users caught between ridiculing the President online and salivating over the dessert.
Trump responded in a now deleted tweet, as published in the Independent, writing: 'Despite the tremendous success that I have had as President, including perhaps the greatest ECONOMY and most successful first two years of any President in history, they have stollen two years of my (our) Presidency (Collusion Delusion) that we will never be able to get back…'.
But stollen is a festive German fruit bread, containing nuts, spices, and dried or candied fruit, coated with powdered sugar or icing sugar and often marzipan.
Users too to X, formerly known as Twitter, to poke fun at the nutty typo.
