DARTS fans will be in fine voice over the next few months with Premier League Darts starting TONIGHT. The likes of Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen will be looking to win the coveted trophy that Luke Littler picked up last year. But they'll need all the support of the darts fans across the UK and some of Europe to do so, and they're certain to not disappoint. Darts fans are known as some of the most passionate in the country and they have an entire library of songs they recite at tournaments, particularly the World Champs.

And 'Don't Take Me Home' is certainly one of them. Don't take me home. Please don't take me home. I just don't wanna go to work. I wanna stay here and drink all your beer. Please don't please don't take me home. The song is sung to the tune of Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart. Well, the answer's in the lyrics. Premier League Darts takes place on Thursday's for 17 weeks between January and May. The majority of fans have to take time off work to attend the tournament, with Friday looming the following day.

And the same goes for football supporters, particularly England fans during the Euros or the World Cup. Thousands of England fans have had to take time off work to travel to major tournaments over the years, with numerous games taking place on week days. And the longer England stay in the tournament, the longer those fans can support the Three Lions in person. England fans and darts fans alike are pretty fond of beer, too.
