Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert took the mind games against the Kansas City Chiefs to a new level on Monday night by poking fun at Taylor Swift. Goedert was mostly complimentary of fellow tight end Travis Kelce and his Grammy Award-winning girlfriend, Swift, who is expected to be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl matchup. Yet, Goedert could not help himself to mess with his rivals when asked what his favorite song of Swift's was.

'Does she sing "Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls?"' Goedert said, incorrectly guessing the smash hit from TLC. 'She's an incredible artist but she ain't on my playlist. I'm more of the Philly guys, Meek Mill, obviously been listening to a lot of Kendrick Lamar.'. The jab will likely get back to Kelce, who could brush it off as friendly fire, or take it personally that a fellow tight end does not know the catalog of his massively famous partner.

Swift was only 6 when 'Waterfalls' first hit the charts in May 1995, with her first charting hit coming 11 years after the then-R&B trio had it playing on radio stations across the country. 'Waterfalls' is one of the two signature songs from TLC with 'No Scrubs' being the other. Outside of the dig at Swift, Goedert had nothing but nice things to say about Kelce. 'I think the biggest thing is spending time with him [Kelce], trying to pick his brain and his knowledge of the game,' Goedert told reporters when asked about his opponent's strengths during Super Bowl LIX Opening Night on Monday.

'He's spent so much time trying to figure out the hot spots of zones and then he's got just such a good feel,' he continued, hailing Kelce's footballing knowledge. 'He could be supposed to be doing on thing but he sees space over there and he finds it, and then Mahomes does a good job of getting the ball to him. He does everything well.'. Goedert, the 49th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, arrived in Philadelphia just three months after the Eagles hoisted the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LII.
