EMMA RADUCANU is searching for the seventh coach of her professional career after parting ways with Nick Cavaday. The Brit, 22, learned she had returned to the world's top 60 after a career-best third-round exit at the Australian Open. However, climbing any higher will need the backing of another new coach after Cavaday departed due to health issues.

The 38-year-old stepped down from his position to "get back to full health". Raducanu thanked Cavaday for his service after 14 months of working together. She said: "I'd like to thank Nick for a great partnership over the last year and a bit, especially post-surgeries.

"I wish him all the best in his next chapter and no doubt we'll stay in touch.". Cavaday has known the Bromley-based star since she was ten years old. On his exit, he said: "I am very happy to have been able to work with Emma over the last 14 months. "At this moment in time, it's important for me to spend some more time at home and prioritise getting back to full health, which is hard to do with the extensive calendar.

Raducanu was managed by Nigel Sears and Andrew Richardson in her breakout 2021 year and later Torben Beltz, Dmitry Tursunov and Sebastian Sachs before Cavaday took the reigns.
