A male dog weighing over 143lbs has been filmed struggling to get out of a car as he arrived at fat camp in Russia. The overweight pooch, named Misha, is a former guard dog who had been charged with protecting a parking garage in Bryansk, but was reportedly abandoned by his owners, Newsflash reported.

Misha started being fed by two women who would throw scraps of food over their fence, but this is how the weight slowly started to creep on. Upon noticing that he could no longer walk properly, an animal welfare team decided to help Misha lose weight, with an aim to get him down to 55lbs.

In the short video posted online, Misha looked reluctant to climb down from the backseat of a vehicle as he arrived at the fat camp center. As his female handler coaxed him out of the car, Misha appeared to be unsteady on his paws - but once he found his balance, he slowly made his way inside, but not without difficulty.
