ENGLAND women’s hero Chloe Kelly has released a bombshell statement slamming her own club’s “negative behaviour towards her.”. The Manchester City star has featured just six times in the league this season. Kelly, 27, has seen game time dry up despite being an important figure in past campaigns.

And she has now declared she is eager to leave City ahead of tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline. The ace netted England’s winning goal in their Euro 2022 final win over Germany. Sarina Wiegman’s team will look to defend their trophy this summer in Switzerland.

And Kelly is worried that a lack of minutes at City will seriously hurt her chances of making the squad. It’s reckoned that rivals Manchester United are weighing up a late loan swoop, with Kelly’s City contract not expiring until June. Now, the winger has issued a lengthy statement slamming her club for leaving her on the sidelines all season.

For a long time, I've tried to work through professional challenges privately, not commenting publicly, but with my situation increasingly being debated in the public domain, I feel it's time to be open and transparent, and you heard it from my perspective.
