Summary at a Glance

All Sky devices - such as Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream - have long had the YouTube service pre-installed, which makes it easy to watch endless hours of content for free.

This popular platform offers easy access to a vast array of live and on-demand content and, as long as you have a compatible device in your home, everything is totally free to watch.

Manhattan's boxes have always offered access to live and on-demand content, but the company has now confirmed that it has added the much-loved YouTube app as well.

"That's right – YouTube has arrived on the T4 range in our v2 update, and you'll find it exactly where it should be – on our Top Apps row," the company said in an udate.

It's clearly enticing but Freeview does have its drawbacks with services such as Sky offering more things to tune into along with easy one-touch access and full integration with apps such as Netflix, DIsney+ and more.
