SAS Rogue Heroes has returned for a second outing but what else has actor Stuart Campbell been in?. More than two years have passed since the first series of SAS Rogue Heroes with Sex Education star Connor Swindells leading the way as army officer David Stirling.
The premiere episode of season two aired on New Year’s Day on BBC One but all six episodes are now also available to binge on BBC iPlayer if viewers aren’t keen on waiting to find out how this series pans out. Back again for the second outing alongside Swindells is actor Stuart Campbell, who is behind second in command Captain Bill Fraser. But what else has the star been in?.
The 26-year-old’s career started more than a decade ago when he featured in the short Boy Soldiers in 2012 and then was the voice of Trevor Belmont in the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 video game in 2014. It wasn’t for another two years that Campbell landed his first onscreen role as Jimmy Jones in an episode of Suspects which starred Fay Ripley and Damien Malony.
This was the beginning of the SAS Rogue Heroes actor’s string of one-off appearances in a number of hit shows. These included his roles as Aiden Corbyn in Doctors, Rabbie MacNab in Outlander, Craig Fleetwood in London Kills and Wilf Ransome in Professor T.
He then got his first big recurring role as Jack in the CBBC period drama Hetty Feather which he starred in for three years before it came to an end in 2020. After this, Campbell moved onto the BBC drama Baptiste as Alex Chambers for season two in 2021 followed by the Paramount+ series Chemistry of Death as PC Duncan MCinney.
