Three men believed to be suspects in the burglary of NFL star Joe Burrow's Cincinnati home have been federally indicted. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback had his $7.5million mansion broken into on December 9 amid a nationwide string of heists targeting athletes, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Bastian Morales, 23, Jordan Sanchez, 22, and Sergio Cabello, 38, all from Chile, have now been federally charged.

They are facing federal charges of transporting stolen goods interstate and falsifying records in a federal investigation. The three were among the four men arrested during a traffic stop in Clark County last month. The fourth suspect, Alexander Chavez, 24, is not charged federally but remains charged in Clark County. The FBI released a photo Wednesday showing four men - three of whom are believed to be the suspects - posing on a bed surrounded by luxury designer bags.

The FBI released a photo of the men suspected of burglarizing Joe Burrow's home, surrounding by luxury designer bags and wearing chains with similar designs to the QB's. Burrow's $7.5million Cincinnati mansion was broken into and ransacked back in December. Their faces had all been blurred out but one man could be seen wearing multiple chains around his neck, one featuring a No. 9 and another with a diamond-encrusted 'JB9' - Burrow's jersey number and insignia. The signal caller has been previously seen wearing both designs.

In a fresh update, authorities believed the break-in took place between 6pm and 8pm local time. 'During a security detail shift change at the home at approximately 6 pm, security personnel walked the perimeter of the house and no windows appeared to be broken at that time,' investigators said. Law enforcement responded to the NFL player's home around 8:14pm on December 9, 2024, in reference to a reported burglary, charging documents read.

An 'associate' of Burrow had been dropped off at the residence shortly after 8pm and discovered rooms were unusually messy and a primary bedroom window on the back side of the home had been broken. Authorities investigated the property, leading them to discover a trail camera image of a man carrying luggage and walking through the wooded area behind the home. Law enforcement tracked the subjects in various states following the burglary, and subsequently located the vehicle at the La Quinta hotel on University Boulevard in Fairborn.

Phone analysis reportedly showed that Cabello allegedly deleted photographs of the stolen goods and the back of the victim's home during the traffic stop, thus falsifying records in a federal investigation. Additional cell phone analysis revealed other photos of the defendants in southeast Florida days after the burglary with luxury luggage and wearing the stolen jewelry. The group was also in possession of Husky automatic center punch tools, which are said to be used regularly by the 'South American Theft Group' to 'break glass and enter into houses.'.

On Tuesday, an FBI raid at a pawn shop in Manhattan's Diamond District led to the arrest of two men believed to be linked to the burglary. Dimitriy Nezhinskiy, 43, and Juan Villar, 48, were charged with conspiracy to receive stolen property as part of an alleged fencing operation tied to an organized South American theft group. Both were arraigned Wednesday when their attorney's entered not guilty pleas.
