A FORGOTTEN Premier League star who is now working as a fitness coach ended up being subbed on as a striker for non-league club Wealdstone. Wayne Andrews, 47, enjoyed a glittering career playing up front for the likes of Watford, Coventry and Leeds. He made nine Premier League appearances during the 2004/05 season with Crystal Palace.

And after retiring in 2009 with 44 goals from 230 games, Andrews moved into the world of coaching. The ace reinvented himself as a strength and conditioning expert, training the likes of Andy Cole and Jermaine Jenas. Last summer Andrews took up an official role as Head of Strength and Conditioning with non-league club Wealdstone.
