FORMER Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has been approached about joining a company with links to the Premier League.
Eagle Football currently owns a 45 per cent stake in Premier League side Crystal Palace.
He returned to football last year by joining the Board of Trustees for Bloomsbury Football Foundation, a charity that works with young people from diverse backgrounds.
According to Sky News, Woodward has been approached about joining Eagle Football Holdings as an independent director.
The company has been attempting to sell the stake for months but could now decide to retain it given Palace's impressive form in the top flight.
