Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth: Dango Ouattara chips home to rescue point for the Cherries

All four of Harry Wilson's goals for Fulham this season had come as a substitute. Rewarded with a start by Marco Silva after coming off the bench and scoring at Chelsea on Thursday, Wilson thought he had repaid his manager's belief with the winner against Bournemouth, only for a Bournemouth substitute to get a last gasp equaliser.
Dango Ouattara held his nerve wonderfully to get a deserved point for Andoni Iraola's side after Evanilson had earlier cancelled out Raul Jimenez's opener. The draw meant that both sides remain unbeaten in their last seven games - a form record only matched by Liverpool and Arsenal in the top-flight.
This was a Championship clash in 2022 but both Fulham and Bournemouth will enter 2025 with genuine ambitions of qualifying for European football. Iraola made four changes from the side that started their draw against Crystal Palace with Milos Kerkez, David Brooks, Philip Billing and Evanilson all coming in.
For Fulham, Silva made just the one change from their victory at Stamford Bridge with Wilson coming in for Adama Traore. Bournemouth snatched a late equaliser at Fulham through a cheeky Dango Ouattara chip. Andreas Pereira's outswinging delivery found the unmarked Raul Jimenez, who headed in with aplomb for his sixth league goal of the season.
