Cameron Mathison broke down in tears as he recounted returning to the ruins of his California home, with wildfires still raging across Los Angeles. The General Hospital star, 55, made an emotional appearance on Thursday’s Good Morning America. 'I can’t sleep. I’ve lost everything I own. I have this hoodie I’m wearing, a pair of pants, and two pairs of sneakers—that’s it,' he explained. 'But obviously, it’s important to focus on what we have and what we can be grateful for.'.
Mathison and his now-estranged wife Vanessa Arevalo had lived in the Pasadena home since 2012, along with their children Lelia, 18, and Lucas, 21. 'But it’s hard to get your head out of it,' he continued, tears welling in his eyes. 'Your mind begins reeling, and you think of all the things that are irreplaceable—like the kids' projects and the baby photos on film...'.
'Of course, that’s just stuff, but it’s still very unsettling,' he added. 'And thinking of the hundreds and hundreds of people going through the same thing—it’s just devastating.'.
