Sophie Kasaei has revealed an emotional off-screen moment left her wanting to hide from the cameras while filming Geordie Shore. The reality star, 35, broke down in tears while she was filming the latest series of the MTV show in Thailand. Sophie told how she pulled her co-star Abi Holborn aside for a private chat but cameras soon came along to film them with Sophie looking into the camera and saying: 'No'.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I wasn't upset because I didn't get proposed to, but James proposed to his girlfriend and I had a moment in the toilets, and Abbie is my best friend in the world so I was like 'Abs I need a word.'. Sophie explained she became emotional after fellow Geordie Shore star James Tindale proposed to his girlfriend during the trip.
She said: 'I had a word with Abbie and was like 'Abs I can't wait for this moment to happen for me,' and I got a bit teary, but the cameras found us. Nothing is a secret with this show.'. Sophie said it's virtually impossible to escape the cameras anytime during filming as they are placed 'absolutely everywhere'.
