Pop star Gracie Abrams has criticized the impact of pornography on young people. The 25-year-old - who is the daughter of Hollywood of Hollywood director J.J. Abrams - sounded off on the controversial subject while stripping down for a racy photoshoot in Cosmopolitan magazine. 'Porn is bulls**t. It is dangerous, not real, and a performance,' she told the publication. 'It's really dangerous for young people for that to be their introduction to sex. I remember growing up reading Cosmo and it being like "six tips to give the most rocking blow job ever," and you're like, "Holy f**k.".

'I had a lot of questions... I took to the internet for answers, which is frightening to think about now,' she continued. 'Young people need to learn about sex from a reputable resource like Cosmo or a strong mentor, not just scrolling aimlessly online like I did.'. Her comments drew a strong reaction online, with many agreeing with the fledgling singer's stance. 'She spilled. Just fodder that has corrupted youth and turned young men into misogynists,' commented one fan.

Pop star Gracie Abrams has criticized the impact of pornography on young people while posing for a raunchy photoshoot in Cosmopolitan magazine. A second added, 'She's absolutely correct, and RIGHT, and I wish her message spreads far and wide, loudly and forcefully. GOOD for her to stand up and speak the truth!!'. However, a number of people also criticized her comments, with one writing, 'A lot of people depend on porn for an income… let's not degrade those people just because you don't like it.'.

Another sarcastically added, 'A nepo baby (JJ Abram's daughter) taking the moral high road? Never saw this one coming.'. Gracie also stripped down to her underwear for a raunchy shoot to accompany the interview. In one image, the star donned a skimpy black bra and panties set with nothing more than a completely sheer tank over the top. Another photo saw her in a bedazzled pink bra that showed her underboob and a sequined skirt that she suggestively yanked down.

It comes after Gracie enraged some fans over her 'unjustifiable' ticket prices for the second US leg of her tour. It was announced in December that the Close To You singer would be performing more dates across the country this summer as part of her The Secret of Us deluxe tour. Kicking off on July 23 in Boston, Gracie will also play shows in Toronto, New York City, California, and Colorado. She'll then wrap things up on August 26 and August 27 in Mexico City. Shortly after Gracie announced her shows, however, fans discovered in the pre-sale that two VIP tickets at Madison Square Garden would set them back an eye-watering $648.40. Fans of the singer – who is the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath - were furious by the 'absurd' ticket prices and expressed their outrage on social media.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one slammed, 'There is not a single Gracie Abrams song worth paying $700 to hear live.'. Another vented, 'Gracie Abrams tickets for $700 is completely unjustifiable, that girl is not famous enough to be making her prices that high. I'm sorry Gracie ily but what.'. Echoing a similar sentiment, another said, 'This isn't even like shade towards her there are very few artists y'all should be willing to pay $700 to see.'.

'No concert tickets should ever reach $700 tbh it's just absurd,' added a fifth. 'I don't think there are any songs worth $700 to see live,' a sixth penned. Another posted: 'Even $70 is too much. What are we doing here?'. Gracie's The Secret of Us tour initially kicked off on September 5 in Portland, Oregon, before wrapping in the states in Philadelphia on October 15. Her concerts are set to continue in February 2025, when she will begin the European leg in Madrid, Spain.
