Buffalo broadcaster Rob Ray was struck during the Sabres' 8-2 win over the New York Rangers on Saturday.
A former NHL player, Ray is no stranger to taking tough hits having spent most of his career with the Sabres.
AN NHL announcer turned the air blue after taking a puck to the face - during a live broadcast.
But it was an incident involving Ray - with Buffalo leading 4-0 - that really got social media talking.
It's not the first time Ray has proved a magnet for pucks in the broadcast booth.
