MASTER OF MY FATE (7.30 Southwell, nap). John and Sean Quinn’s sprinter has been in flying form this winter. He scored over this course and distance last month and bounced back from a rare blip to scoot in twice at Lingfield since the turn of the year. He had plenty in hand at Leafy just five days ago and looks hard to stop under a 5lb penalty with regular pilot Jason Hart doing the steering.
HUMBLE SPARK (12.41 Newcastle, nb). Can fire in a hat-trick. He saves his best for Gosforth Park and has won his past two outings here. One of those came over this distance with more than two lengths in hand. A 6lb rise won’t put the brakes on and Paul Mulrennan can guide him home.
FOREST BLAZE (2.05 Wetherby, treble). Has done well since going handicapping and landed a deserved success at Hexham last time. He relished the move up to this sort of trip and has more to come. LA PINSONNIERE (12.12 Huntingdon, Lucky 15). Ran in French Graded races and can show more than her debut second for Nicky Henderson at Windsor last time. She may have needed that after nine months off and there’s more to come under Nico De Boinville.
