Plenty is at stake as WWE Royal Rumble 2025 kicks off the road to WrestleMania on Saturday night. As has been the case for the past three decades, the main focus this year will once again be the Royal Rumble matches. This is where the match begins with two superstars in the ring, and every 90 seconds, a new competitor joins until all 30 have entered. A superstar is eliminated if they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the arena floor. The last remaining competitor will then earn an opportunity for a championship match at WrestleMania this April in Las Vegas.
The likes of Roman Reigns, John Cena and CM Punk go head to head in what promises to be an epic men's Royal Rumble whilst Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Bayley, Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair do battle in the women's Royal Rumble. Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes seeks to put an end to his rivalry with Kevin Owens as he defends the Undisputed WWE Championship in a high-stakes ladder match and #DIY will defend their WWE Tag Team titles against former champions Motor City Machine Guns in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
