Hugh Jackman and comedy legend seen in audience of Sutton Foster's show amid affair rumors

Hugh Jackman was spotted in the audience at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre this week watching Sutton Foster, amid a blizzard of affair speculation. Jackman, 56, and Foster, 49 - who starred in The Music Man on Broadway together through 2022 - are rumored to have conducted an extramarital romance that led to his split from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 69, in September 2023.
Last year, Foster returned to Broadway in a revival of the beloved 1959 musical Once Upon A Mattress - and now Jackson has seen the production on tour in California. He was seated in the crowd at the Ahmanson Theatre next to comedy legend Carol Burnett, who originated the role being played by Foster in the new production.
A source said Burnett, 91, was treated to 'massive applause' during intermission, according to the popular gossip blog DeuxMoi. Jackman caught Foster's show on one of his last chances to do so in Los Angeles, as she will be closing out her run there this Sunday evening.

This past November, Furness appeared to confirm the real reason for their September 2023 legal separation stemmed from his rumored affair with Foster. Furness' private Instagram account 'liked' an October 26th video from gossip blogger Tasha Lustig claiming he was 'running off with the mistress' and planning a 'soft launch' of their relationship - according to Us Weekly.
