'I spent a day in the Love Island All Stars villa – one change will cause chaos'

Love Island’s All Stars is back for series two in South Africa a year after the revamped show launched on ITV2. Series one winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare are still going strong, having recently bought a house in Manchester less than 12 months after meeting on the show.
This year Maya Jama is back to welcome 12 more returning islanders looking for love. Curtis Pritchard, Scott Thomas and Kaz Crossley are among the famous faces returning to the reality dating show. They will be joined by Series 11 contestant Ronnie Vint, series five star Elma Pazar, and series 10’s Catherine Agbaje.
Completing this year’s line-up is series six islander Nas Majeed, series nine’s Olivia Hawkins, series eight islander Luca Bish, series five islander India Reynolds, and series three’s Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen - who had one messy break-up.
The villa has been given an all-stars revamp, with a gold theme running throughout to make the famous faces feel at home. Gone are the house catchphrases adoring the walls and mirrors paying homage to bygone series as bosses look to give the house a fresher feel.
The kitchen area - where long-term viewers will know witnesses some of the biggest rows ever seen on the show - has undergone a serious overhaul and would now not look out of place in Barbie’s dream-house thanks to the striking pink stripes splashed across the walls, ceiling and even the fridge. Love Island bosses have even admitted they don’t know how the jazzy update will translate to TV with viewers being mesmerised or given migraines by the intense stripes.
