In Europe’s ‘film set’ city I found £5 cocktails at my new favourite bar

Dubrovnik, in Croatia, is known for it’s quaint Old Town, views borrowed by Game Of Thrones, and delicious seafood. But to me, it will forever be known as the city with the best bar I’ve ever been to. Welcome to The Love Bar in Dubrovnik. Located just a short 15-minute drive from the Old Town, which has been described by visitors as ‘like a film set’ thanks to its staring role in GOT, you’ll find a rooftop bar nestled into the hillside.

It’s so well hidden from the street, that to find it, you’ll quite literally have to stumble upon it, but look carefully, and you’ll spot an inconspicuous sign on a nearby roof, as well as an arrow on the roadside, directing you up a steep flight of stairs.

Located in the Port Gruž area of the city, Love Bar has a large terrace offering panoramas over the port and a perfect spot to take that enviable sunset picture. The bar has a four-page menu full of mouth-watering drinks, which, by the way, are so affordable you’ll likely do a double-take when you see the price.
