Meghan Markle's new Netflix programme sees the Duchess of Sussex offer tips on how to entertain - but Prince Harry is "barely mentioned". Sources who've been given a preview of With Love, Meghan - likely to be the final project in Meghan and Harry's $100million (£80million) deal with Netflix - say it continues with what is seen as the couple's "brand separation". Meghan and Harry admitted in November they are at a "crossroads" with their work and insiders say With Love, Meghan - a "how-to" guide to entertain - further reinforces this. Harry, nor either of the couple’s children Archie and Lilibet, are hardly mentioned or seen in Meghan's latest series. A source said: "Harry isn't in it. It’s all her, and all about her. It’s very watchable.".

Instead of family, Meghan features special guests, including actress Mindy Kaling, fashion designer Tracy Robbins and Delfina Blaquier – who is married to Harry’s best pal, polo player Nacho Figueras. It was thought the programme was going to be a cookery show with Meghan sharing and carrying out recipes. However, the eight-part series, which starts on March 4, is understood to be more about hosting and offering inspiration to those wanting to woe friends and family.

The source told Mail Online: "There is no point at which Meghan says 'take 200 grams of flour' or anything like that... It’s a very magical and beautiful guide to hosting and entertaining rather than a how-to cookery show. It’s about inspiration – more like, 'Why not try and make this kind of pasta or this kind of dessert'.". The series was supposed to begin on January 15 but Meghan, who lives with Harry in Montecito, California, felt it would have been insensitive to screen it days after the LA wildfires broke out. She said last month: "I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state.".

But now it is all system go with team at Archewell – the business she set up with Harry – together with the Intellectual Property Corporation, an offshoot of Sony, releasing promotional material to tease viewers. The blurb on adverts reads: "Create wonder in every moment.". Netflix said the show "blends practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old". The streaming giant adds: "Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.".
