Ipswich beat Everton to £21m Aston Villa star Jaden Philogene - just SIX MONTHS after he returned to his boyhood side on a five-year deal Ipswich Town on Wednesday night agreed a £21million fee with Aston Villa for winger Jaden Philogene.
The 22-year old was also wanted by Everton but Ipswich have moved quickly to agree terms and Philogene has agreed to the move after speaking to Portman Road boss Kieran McKenna who also tried to sign him in the summer.
The player re-joined Villa just six months ago on a five-year deal from Hull, with Unai Emery's side pipping Ipswich to the post after the Tigers gave the club the right to match any bid tabled for him.
Aston Villa starlet Jaden Philogene has agreed to join Ipswich Town in a £21million move.
Philogene had also spent time on loan at Cardiff and Stoke before his move to Hull, where he scored 12 goals in his 32 Championship appearances.
