Those results meant GB lost the tie 2-1 and all three teams finished on the same points. But the mathematics of GB’s opening 2-1 success over Argentina meant they topped Group F because they had claimed the most SETS of the three — and the Aussies were out.

Boulter, 28, said: “I’ve been trying to avoid all the stats on this. “But we were at dinner with Laura Robson last night and she told me I had to win in straight sets. I was feeling the pressure.”. Boulter and De Minour announced their engagement shortly before Christmas.
