LUKE HUMPHRIES has revealed how Luke Littler winning the Darts World Championship has freed him up to make TWO experimental changes.
Humphries, who turned 30 on Tuesday, has claimed his darts had "lost their feel" towards the end of last year - but, being reigning world champ, he didn't want to risk making any major changes.
Humphries - who believes Littler is the best in the world - said: "I’ve changed a lot of things about my game... I’ve got a newer set of darts, new footwear.
Humphries - set to make history in the coming months - went on to reveal he wasn't using different darts - just a fresher set.
Humphries explained: "I decided to make the changes two-thirds of the way through last year but I didn’t want to change anything at an important moment.
