The Philadelphia Eagles have landed in the Big Easy with a big week ahead of them as they prepare to try and get some revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Quarterback Jalen Hurts, head coach Nick Sirianni, running back Saquon Barkley, and the rest of the team have landed at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Sunday in time to prepare for the Big Game in one week's time.

The team departed their training facility on Sunday morning and headed to Philadelphia International Airport to board a flight headed to Louisiana. They landed sometime in the mid-afternoon - with the pilots of their plane opening a window on the ground and flying a flag with the Eagles logo that said 'Geaux Birds' - spelling 'go' in a faux-French style as is commonly seen in the state. The Eagles will be staying at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel - located adjacent to the Mississippi River and about a mile from the Caesars Superdome, where the game will take place.

Now, they have an entire week to get acclimated to the city and prepare for their second Super Bowl matchup against Kansas City in three seasons. Philadelphia earned their trip to the Super Bowl after knocking off the Washington Commanders in dominant fashion. On the other hand, Kansas City was able to hold off a late effort from the Buffalo Bills to make their third-straight appearance in the NFL's championship game.
