Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards shook hands after the ex-Liverpool man was told he want "too far" with his haircut insults. On Tuesday night the CBS panel - Richards, Carragher, Thierry Henry and host Kate Abdo - reconvened for the Champions League. The attention quickly switched from the football to Richards' new hair do with Carragher quick to weigh in on the situation.
The ex-Manchester City man had opted to change up his look but Carragher didn't hold back and told him he looked "awful". Upon reviewing his old hair do the former Liverpool man said he used to look "so cool" but now he looked "not cool" - all of which left Richards stunned.
Henry watched on, knowing how much pride Richards takes in his appearance, and couldn't believe Carragher was going in with the brutal comments. He also said: "It doesn't suit you. I'm saying that as a friend.". The quartet were back together 24 hours later and Richards said: "You ruined my confidence yesterday Jamie!" Carragher then responded: "Can I say something? My wife Nicola told me last night [that] I went too far.".
Richards was stunned that his wife had called Carragher out with the pair then shaking hands. Richards jokingly declared: "Thank you Nicola, I love you!". Carragher has been happy to mock his colleague and branded him an "act" for wearing contact lenses instead of glasses. Richards though said he is "more than happy" with the look and that he hasn't gone out to see what the general consensus is.
