WEST HAM star Jarrod Bowen is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his foot. The club captain picked up the problem in the 5-0 battering by Liverpool on Sunday night. Bowen, 28, picked up the problem in the first-half but tried to play on.
But following a tackle by Alexis Mac Allister, the England winger limped off on the hour mark. West Ham released a brief statement confirming the injury, but they did not announce how long he will be out for. Bowen updated fans on Instagram, writing: "Unfortunately in the first-half of our game on Sunday I suffered a fracture to a bone in my foot.
"As always I tried to fight on and continue playing until I physically couldn’t. "Injuries happen in football but I’m already looking forward to getting back out there as soon as possible. See you all soon!". THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY..
