Jelena Dokic has hit back at fans who mocked her dance at the Australian Open with tennis champion Aryna Sabalenka. 'I am and I do, go and listen to everything I did yesterday as well as to get something different out of the players and to have and not just talk forehands and backhands. Bye bye,' Dokic responded.
Following Sabalenka's match at the 2024 Australian Open champion, Dokic played several of the 26-year-old's dancing TikToks on the big screen. Sabalenka stated: 'I'm trying my best, I'm not the best dancer, but I am trying my best.'. But Dokic pressed further, telling the world No 1: 'I have a question. You always dance but there's no one in the crowd. So, I have an idea...'.
