Reacting to the news that Buswell had lifted the glitterball trophy on Saturday night, Sugg, who placed second in the 2018 final, thanked McCausland for making Buswell’s year “so special”. “Last night was an absolute movie,” he wrote on Sunday. “You made us laugh, you made us cry and you proved to the world that you are good enough and you can achieve anything the doubters say you can’t and more.”.
